Project Manager

The Project Manager will work with cross-functional business partners to implement new payment technologies, new initiatives, track performance, and continuously improve processes and key performance metrics. The role requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, knowledge of credit decision and risk management, and attention to detail. Ability to work proactively, effective communication skills, cross-functional relationship management, people management and project management experiences are required.

Skills:

Knowledge of Excel, R, SAS, and SQL preferred

Knowledge of project management

Experience

3+ years professional experience within banking or finance industry preferred

Proven track record of independently managing a project end-to-end in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines

Experience with agile methods including sprints, backlog trackers and user stories

CECL Consultant

The Consultant will provide risk intelligence and analytics, make sense of data, improve data availability and integrity, develop adjudication scorecards, develop, calibrate, implement and maintain risk rating models, develop and maintain capital methodology, allocate and plan capital, and sensitivity analysis, and support other risk strategies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop, document, and maintain credit risk models, including PD/LGD/EAD models for DFAST stress testing and IFRS9/US CECL reporting.

Develop of credit adjudication and collection based scorecard, and supporting adjudication and collection strategy development and decision trees

Support the implementation, monitoring, and validation of all models.

Develop predictive models to support portfolio management and marketing initiatives on lending products

Work with different stake holders for model/data requirements, and model implementation

Define how risk rating systems, scorecard and decision tree performance will be monitored and analyzed

Use analytics and creative statistical solutions to support IFRS9/US CECL deliverables

EXPERIENCE

Minimum five years in banking

AML / BSA systems

The Position:

The candidate will assist in the implementation of systems that support the BSA/AML programs and acts to ensure compliance efforts are maintained in accordance with Federal regulations. The individual will actively participate in compliance projects as assigned that relate to AML Compliance initiatives including systems implementation, core systems testing, and model governance.

The individual will be primarily responsible for the daily oversight of AML systems, testing and monitoring of rules and models, and reporting, interdependencies with core systems. The candidate will also have excellent knowledge of how banks and other financial services firms perform risk management and financial crimes functions. Candidates should also be successful in working on delivering projects and have leadership and stakeholder engagement skills that can be used immediately on ongoing project work.

Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities :

• Knowledgeable and compliant with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures application to the organization.

• Provide day-to-day on-going compliance support to ensure adherence to relevant state and federal laws and regulation in support of the AML compliance program. Provide updates to the Compliance Officer through regular reporting and review results.

• Sound technical, data, and analytics skills related to AML Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions screening, Client list screening, with specific systems knowledge in Actimize, Oracle/Mantas, Norkom/ Detica preferred.

• Data mapping, data integration experience with extensive SQL and Oracle experience in writing and creating complex queries.

• Must have functional understanding of AML Transaction Monitoring operational processes including understanding of different monitoring scenarios

• Experience in designing and delivering BSA/AML data management and analytics projects, execution of BSA/AML data and analytics-oriented projects

• Experience with leading financial BSA/AML software platforms and related data models

• Ability to communicate fluently with both information technology teams as well as the business owners of compliance related applications

• Must be able to coordinate UAT testing in a global environment, create test scripts, and knowledge of automation of testing by using leading industry tools like Cucumber and Selenium.

• Ability to test and proactively identify problems with software and communicate to senior management.

• Ability to interact with senior management teams and understand key requirements

• Ability to transform requirements into business intelligence (BI) reporting

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.

• Knowledge of institutional core banking platforms, payment systems, SWIFT, FED, ACH, etc.

• Knowledge of payment products, systems and their associated risks

• Organize and ensure the monitoring of the business, corporate, and external policies and regulations

• Complete all mandatory training within a timely basis, as instructed

• Comply with code of conduct, policies/procedures

• Actively identify incidents outside of established policies & procedures and report to management immediately

• Be familiar with laws, regulations ( BSA, OFAC), and internal policies & procedures that are applicable to required job duties
